Hi, I am Rafy Vega
I’m Rafy, a photographer based in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and for more than 15 years I’ve had the privilege of documenting some of life’s most meaningful moments.
What started as a passion for photography has grown into a career that I’m incredibly grateful for. Through the years, I’ve photographed weddings, destination celebrations, quinceañeras, families, and corporate events—but there’s something particularly special about being invited into a couple’s wedding day.
Every wedding is different. Every couple has their own story, their own people, their own traditions, and their own way of celebrating. That’s what makes this work so rewarding for me.

Being photographed shouldn’t feel like a chore.
I know that not everyone feels comfortable in front of a camera—and honestly, you don’t have to. My job is to make the experience feel natural, relaxed, and fun.
When it’s time for portraits, I’ll give you the direction you need so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands or where to stand. But I also know when to step back and simply let things happen.
My approach combines documentary storytelling with an editorial eye—creating photographs that feel authentic while still looking refined and timeless.

I believe great wedding photography begins long before the wedding day.
From our first conversation, I want to understand what matters to you. I take the time to learn about your plans, your priorities, and the people who are important to you.
I can help you think through your photography timeline, anticipate the moments that deserve extra attention, and make sure you feel prepared when the big day arrives.
On the wedding day, my goal is to be present without being intrusive—keeping things moving, helping when needed, and giving you the freedom to actually enjoy your celebration.

WHEN I'M NOT BEHIND THE CAMERA
When I’m not photographing weddings, I’m usually looking for my next adventure, spending time with my family, or simply enjoying life away from the computer.
I’ve always been drawn to things that combine movement, creativity, and the outdoors. I think that’s part of what keeps me inspired—and probably part of why I love the energy and unpredictability of wedding days so much.
At the end of the day, I’m a photographer because I genuinely love people, stories, and the feeling of preserving something that can never happen exactly the same way twice.
