Some love stories seem naturally connected to the ocean.
For Amanda and Justin, the beach had been part of their story from the beginning. Their first date was by the ocean, and years later, Justin proposed during a sunset trip to Hilton Head Island.
When it came time to choose where they would say “I do,” an oceanfront wedding felt like the perfect continuation of their journey.
Their story brought them to Copamarina Beach Resort & Spa in Guánica, Puerto Rico, where they celebrated their destination wedding surrounded by family, friends, and the beauty of the Caribbean coast.
An Oceanfront Wedding in Puerto Rico

The warm Caribbean breeze, the sound of the water, and the people closest to them created an intimate and unforgettable atmosphere.
One of the most meaningful details of their ceremony was that Justin's brother served as their officiant, making the celebration even more personal.
A Wedding That Reflected Who They Are
Amanda's style was one of the things that made this wedding especially memorable.
Her custom wedding dress, tattoos, and effortless personality made her bridal look completely her own. Nicole Rodz completed her look with hair and makeup that felt natural and authentic.
After the ceremony, we explored the beautiful waterfront areas of Copamarina Beach Resort for their portraits.
These became some of my favorite moments of the day.
The ocean provided the perfect backdrop, but what made the photographs special was Amanda and Justin's connection. Their laughter, energy, and the way they enjoyed simply being together made every moment feel natural.
A Celebration to Remember
After the ceremony, the celebration continued with an incredible party.
DJ Dre traveled from Philadelphia to Puerto Rico and quickly filled the dance floor with energy. At one point, the music was so good that nobody wanted to stop dancing.
The beautiful floral design by Lorraine's Flowers, the wedding cake by D'Lights Cake & Desserts, and the tent and lighting by Melendez Rental helped create a memorable celebration under the Puerto Rican sky.
